Steve's passion for performance cars is what brought SDR Motorsport to life. His expertise and meticulous attention to detail is highlighted in everything that he does.
SYLVIA
Sylvia is our behind-the-scenes prodigy who ensures that everything is running smoothly at SDR Motorsport. From product photography to processing online orders, Sylvia does it all!
OUR HISTORY
2008
SDR was established in March 2008 by Steve and his wife Sylvia. The business began as a rotary performance workshop focusing on engine building and fabrication.
2012
By 2012, an adjoining industrial unit was acquired to house dyno tuning facilities in partnership with Unigroup Engineering, providing on-site tuning services by Evan Guven.
SDR MOTORSPORT FABRICATION
2015
2015 saw the inception of SDR Motorsport Fabrication for automotive customisation, offering certified roll cages, custom exhaust manifolds, engine conversions, and extensive sheet metal work.
2018
In 2018, SDR Motorsport Fabrication moved to larger premises equipped for all types of fabrication work, including full custom vehicle builds.
A LEADING SUPPLIER OF PERFORMANCE PARTS
2023
By 2023, a performance parts showroom was established showcasing a range of rotary and performance products for purchase, from engines to cooling technology to exhaust systems.
2024
The expansion in 2024 to another industrial unit marked the NSW distribution for 247 Hose & Fittings, offering over 600 aftermarket performance parts including hoses, fittings, clamps, and various accessories.
MATT
Matt leads the fabrication team with precision and skill, elevating the quality of workmanship at every turn.
STEPHANIE
Steph, a dedicated third-year apprentice, combines learning with hands-on fabrication work, excelling in crafting parts and managing store operations for 247 Hose & Fittings.
JACOB
Jacob contributes part-time, seamlessly integrating work at SDR Motorsport with his school commitments, showcasing versatility and commitment to the team's success.
LUKE
Luke showcases his expertise by assembling cars, fabricating intricate parts, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities at SDR Motorsport.
